I've had type 2 diabetes since 2012, and one thing that frustrates me is how expensive it can be to manage a long-term medical condition.
Between medication, appointments, blood tests, monitoring equipment and other health-related expenses, the costs quickly add up. Even when you're doing everything you can to manage your condition, it can put a real strain on your finances.
It's not just diabetes, either. People with asthma, chronic pain and other long-term conditions can face ongoing expenses just to manage their health.
Having a medical condition is one thing, but having to worry about the cost of managing it is another. Looking after your health shouldn't feel like a financial luxury.
Does anyone else feel like the financial burden of managing long-term medical conditions doesn't get talked about enough?
